Buyer Testimonials
I love the Philadelphia Gift Show because there are a lot of great vendors present, parking is easy and free, hotel rooms are not outrageously priced and there is seating along the way for those of us who need to take a break every so often. I don't feel overwhelmed like I do in NY and I am able to find most of the things I need. Also, it was nice having the candy show there this year. That allowed me to skip going to yet another show.Gail Rosenthal, Joelle's Card & Gift Boutique, Linwood, NJ
Very intimate show, due to the open space of the vendor booths. You can have a one-on-one meetings with vendors in their booths, in a more relaxed atmosphere, without the RUSH feeling you get at other larger shows.Eli Blumenthal, UnbeatableSale, Inc., Lakewood, NJ
We just attended the Philadelphia Gift Show and spent two full days there and probably could have used a third. There is so much to see and we feel this show will benefit us in our future buying. We have five locations and this is the perfect place to find items that everyone else in our area may not have. We want our customers to see new products instead of the same items our previous vendors had for us. This show did not disappoint. We look forward to going again in July.Patrick Martella, Boswell Pharmacy, Jennerstown, PA
This was my first time attending the Philadelphia Gift Show. I went with the goal of finding new suppliers & interesting products, and I was not disappointed! I was very impressed by the variety & quality the show had to offer. I opened over a dozen new accounts on the show floor, and several more the following week, as I poured through the catalogs choosing what would work best in my store. It was a fantastic opportunity to network. I loved every minute of the show, and I truly only have good things to say about it. This was a very fruitful trip & I will return next year!Jennifer Simmers, JSWD, Greensburg, PA
The Philadelphia Gift Show did an amazing job this January. I would wholeheartedly recommend the show to all businesses looking to expand their customer base. The quality of the products and vendors far exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to the next show.Roseanne Gallagaher & Mary Ann Wilmoth, J Madison Spa, Kingston, PA
I have been attending the Philadelphia Gift Show for many years. We are able to drive the 1 1/2hrs to the show twice yearly and look forward to staying at one of the participating hotels. This July we were fortunate to stay over 2 nights which allowed us 3 days at the show. We placed over 40 orders, with 20 vendors being brand new for us. The show is getting better every year!! We love to see the new vendors and enjoy meeting the owners & reps of various companies. I manage a local hospital gift shop so we have a little bit of everything and certainly find everything we need to order at the Philadelphia Gift Show.Betty Karrer, Shore Medical Center, Somer Point, NJ
I love a show where I can do all my shopping in a day or two that would otherwise take me weeks. Also found a number of new items for the store this trip.Bart Goldberg, The Card Cellar, Fredericksburg, VA
I love attending the Philadelphia Gift Show more than the NY Now Show -- mostly due to the open space of the vendor booths. You can really have one-on-one meetings with vendors in their booths. You do not have the RUSH feeling you get in New York. It is a lot more relaxing attending the Gift Show here in Philadelphia.Sherri Smilen, FABER, COE & GREGG, Philadelphia, PA
We find the Philadelphia Gift Show to be the most productive of the shows we attend. It has a great variety ranging from jewelry, home decor items, clothes, personal products, gift items, candles and much more. We always find the perfect items at the right price to sell in our store. We look forward to seeing our reps, meeting new ones and seeking out new products. The Philadelphia Gift Show is always a pleasant experience.Frank & Georgeann Mondelli, Nikki's Card & Gift Shop, Maywood, NJ
This was my third year as the sole buyer for our store and I find it so much easier to go to your show than a few others further away. You always have great new items and the vendors are always friendly and available to answer questions and make suggestions. The housing is also near and no hassle. We are a pretty big pharmacy with a large gift department, featuring baby gifts, clothes, also men's and women's gifts and clothes, and the selection is great.Isabel Danielak, Silverton Pharmacy, Toms River, NJ
I have attended and followed the Philadelphia Gift Show through its many changes and locations since the beginning. Owning a Hallmark store I always found lots of little gems I may have overlooked at a larger show. It was also a way to work with my local reps in a more relaxed environment and cut some time out of the costly larger shows. Since I no longer own a Hallmark store I was not sure if the Philadelphia Gift Show was a venue appropriate for a boutique business. However, over the years this show has become like a family reunion for all the rep companies and owners of small and large businesses. So how could I not go? I did not expect to find much for my new store in the way of new product but was pleasantly surprised. Not only did we get to catch up with old business friends but came home with orders for new product. I have always felt every show has something to add to your business, it may not be the hot item of the season but a repeat steady seller for years. The Philly show gives you the time to network and search out new product.Jerri Sacewicz - Lili B's, Skillman, NJ
I love attending the Philly Gift show, in January and July!!!! Hassle free, always a convenient and free parking space. I buy from old vendors and always find new product.Theresa Caroppolo, Huggables, Branchburg, NJ
Attending the Philadelphia Gift Show is a great way to find little companies that cannot afford large venues, like NYC. It is a relaxed setting to finalize my buying.Joe Allegra, Sterling Hallmark Shops, Chatham, NJ
This was the first time we used the Philadelphia Gift Show as a buying resource and we were pleased. Significant and unique vendors, ease of access and free parking were all part of what made this a great experience. It offers much more than we expected. We will be adding "Philly" to our future buying schedule. Elizabeth and Michael Newhard, Newhard's, The Home Source, Warwick, NJ
We attended our first show in Philly this summer and it will not be our last. We spent two full days there and needed a third. There is so much to see and we feel this show will benefit us in our future buying. We have five locations and this is the perfect place to find items that everyone else in our area may not have. We want our customers to see new products instead of the same items our previous vendors had for us. This show did not disappoint. Patrick Martella, Boswell Pharmacy Services, Jennerstown, PA
